The film has been helmed by Siddharth Anand, who has made hits like War and Pathaan, and carries out the entire project of this scale with great finesse. Hrithik Roshan takes on great performance in the role of Wing Commander Varun while giving away intensity to greeting vulnerability. Deepika Padukone also gives her utmost in character while adding a beautiful shade to the narrative.
Aerial conflicts exhibit the strongest view in the film, with incredible VFX and death-defying stunts. Yet, emotional arcs built around the characters ensure that while this is a flick replete with heavy action and mayhem, it also touches at the heart regarding sacrifices made by the armed forces. Predictable, yes, but certain plot points will keep it from taking away an overall impact as it is the generally wonderful visual experience.
